How we pick

Bunk Ledger is written for US and Canadian drivers. Each guide is researched from manufacturer specifications, manuals, public reviews, and driver feedback, then narrowed to what matters in a truck.

The same page serves both countries. The header switch stores US or Canada in this browser and points each Amazon link at amazon.com or amazon.ca. Calculator defaults follow that choice: miles, miles per gallon, and a USD label, or kilometres, litres per 100 km, and a CAD label. The currency label is not an exchange rate.

What gets a guide

A product earns space when it solves a real constraint in a cab: the floor it occupies, the fuse it shares, the bunk it has to fit, the company rule about drilling. "Best" in a headline means best fit for the job the page describes, and each page says who should skip it.

Top picks on the homepage are the guides we would hand a new driver first.

Specs and numbers

Figures come from maker sheets, manuals, and product listings. Inch conversions from millimetres use 25.4 mm to the inch. When sources disagree, the guide points to the detail worth confirming on the listing. Calculators use the formulas printed on each tool page.

Advice

Guides are general information, not medical, legal, tax, or financial advice. Manuals, carrier policy, and the label on the product come first.
